RE

Religious Education at Hilton Lane is a rich and meaningful journey that helps children make sense of the world, understand others and reflect on their own beliefs and values. Through exploring a wide range of faiths, traditions and moral teachings, pupils learn about community, respect, kindness and the importance of celebrating difference. They encounter stories, festivals, sacred places, charity, symbolism and inspirational figures from across religions, developing curiosity, empathy and a deep appreciation for the diversity of our world. Our RE curriculum encourages thoughtful discussion, critical thinking and open‑mindedness, helping children recognise both similarities and unique aspects of belief. At Hilton Lane, RE empowers every pupil to understand themselves, appreciate others and contribute positively to a respectful, inclusive society.
