Our school day
At the main school, we open our doors to welcome the children at 8:45am. The school day officially starts at 9am and finishes at 3:30pm
Due to nursery being off site, the times vary a little. Doors open at 9am and the nursery day finishes at 3:15pm.
A typical school day in the main school is as follows (nursery is different):
| 8:45-9:00 | Doors open. Soft start, breakfast for everyone. Reading and morning maths |
| 9:00 | All children expected in school. Register to be taken |
| 9:00- 10:20 | Core learning (english/maths) |
| 10:20- 10:30 | Morning break time |
| 10:30- 12:00 | Core learning (english/maths/phonics/reading) |
| 12:00- 1:00 | Lunch time |
| 1:00- 2:00 | Foundation learning (history, science, georgraphy etc) |
| 2:00- 2:15 | Afternoon break |
| 2:15- 3:30 | Foundation learning (history, science, georgraphy etc) |
We all come together during the week for celebration and reflection assemblies. We also have singing assemblies once a week... we're getting quite good now!
Each week we are in school learning and growing from 9am-3:30pm. This totals 32.5 hours per week.
