From exploring life in ancient civilisations to uncovering how our own local area has changed over time, children become curious investigators, time-travellers, and storytellers. Through exciting topics—like pharaohs and pyramids, Roman invasions, fierce Viking raids, influential individuals, world-changing wars, and the hidden histories of our community—pupils discover how the past is full of wonder, challenge, and inspiration. History helps them understand how people’s choices shaped the world they live in today, empowering them to think critically, ask questions, and appreciate the diversity of human experiences.
