Art at Hilton Lane Primary is an exciting journey of discovery, imagination and creativity! Through drawing, painting, sculpture, collage and printing, children explore a world full of colour, texture and ideas while learning to express themselves with growing confidence. From studying inspiring artists to experimenting with a rich variety of materials, pupils develop essential skills that spark curiosity, problem‑solving and independent thinking. Art isn’t just a subject—it’s a chance to explore, create and shine, helping every child see the world in new and wonderful ways.

Art in action

The whole school worked together to contribute to the local poppy display on Remembrance Sunday. 

Our efforts were displayed for local residents to see and resulted in us winning a Spirt of Salford award from our local Counsellor. We were very proud.
